My Favorite and Not so Favorite of Humanities 101

There was not anything that I felt should have been left out of this class. I have learned so much about the Victorians that is still relevant today. They were just as twisted and sick minded back then as people are now. I didn’t realize that they were the ones whom came up with a lot of inventions and were piggy backed off of when upgrades were made. I am glad to know that the antiseptics and pain meds were created back then, I could not imagine life without it today. We read a lot of interesting stories that I discuss with my book club Me Time out of Tuscaloosa Alabama. They love the idea that I am back in school and learning so much. The stories I didn’t really care for was red headed league and that’s because I really don’t care for mystery stories. My favorite to read and feel we couldn’t do without were all those presentations we had to talk about. I learned some interesting facts and Catherine Walters was my favorite. I heard of paid prostitutes but never heard of one retiring on that until I had to research her.
