Things I have learned about the Victorians

I have learned that the Victorians created a lot of good things such as medicine, antiseptics, transportation, anything that could make life better was more than likely created during this era. I also learned that this era also harbored a lot of evil things that went on during this time. Such as monsters, serial killers, diseases, odd jobs, child abuse. Anything that would more than likely get you sent to jail was done during this era. I look at modern day problems in a different light because something very simple was huge back then even something as simple as a cold because there was no cure for it. I am thankful for the times I live in now with new innovations and inventions the Victorians will continue to live good and bad!
