Beach Photos

In this beach photo all the women are dressed in their Sunday best clothing, which is not what one would wear to a beach. The beach is a place where you can go for refuge and be hot and half naked if you desire. It should be the no judgement zone where all skin is welcome. In the photograph Hastings from the beach the women all look solemn and not much interaction was going on. I would guess this photo was taken during the winter time as all the dresses were long or it could have been summer because women were expected to be covered up by then. Either way it is uncomfortable to be fully covered at any beach. I feel for these poor women.
