Long John Silver

Long John Silver was a Pirate that had one leg that was believed to have been lost in the Hawke, a war. He had a pet bird Parrot by the name of Flint that gave instructions. I picture all pirates to be mean and rob all the ships out on the ocean. I was afraid to cruise once because pirates still exist just not with a hook, big hat, eye patches and a big faithful bird. They take over ships by sneaking on and robbing the patrons on the ship. I have not heard of this happening in a long time but I’m sure it still does. They warn about this on cruises now that there is a slim chance that it could still happen.
