Favorite Subject That Was Discussed

My favorite topic that was discussed was about prostitution. Not that I really enjoyed all the content but it was informative. I knew that prostitution was a old profession but to go into detail what really happened back then showed what women have been enduring for a longtime. You were exposed to so much disease and possible a death sentence. Women did a lot to provide for their families the best way they knew how even if it meant they could be murdered. It also proved the mighty dollar would make men go through great lengths to get what they want. They endangered their wives and future children as they still do now. It was hard to believe that they locked women up and half treated them just so they could go back out and finish ruining their lives unless you were a Catherine Walters who made a decent living off of men. Women took abuse and all kinds of ugly treatment back then and even now. But at least there is rehab for this now. We don’t have to suffer in silence like the women of yesteryears did.
